Giving

We are incredibly thankful for all of those who give generously of their time, money, skills and energy to the work and ministry of Warlingham Methodist Church. In order to fulfil the mission and ministry that we believe God has called us to we rely on the generosity of individuals. We ask that if you consider Warlingham Methodist Church to be your home then please prayerfully consider at what level you can contribute financially to the life of the church.

For more details on church finances, please see our annual report and accounts on the Charity Commission’s website.

Why Do We Give?

We give to express our gratitude to God who has been so generous to us, to play our part in funding the work of the church (the money comes from nowhere else), and as an expression of trust in God to provide for all our needs.

How Do We Give?

We give generously and cheerfully and realistically (see 2 Corinthians 8 and 9). We can also give regularly (though standing orders or the envelope scheme) or as a one-off lump sum. Most of all we are encouraged to give prayerfully.

There are a number of ways to give:

Regular Giving

By setting up a standing order with your bank by completing a standing order form.

Through your employer's payroll giving scheme, if they have one. Our charity name and number: Warlingham Methodist Church, 1156399.

Or, on Sunday morning via bank card payment.

One-Off Giving

By cash or cheque (made payable to 'Warlingham Methodist Church') in the collection plate left at the back of the church on Sunday morning, or handed to the church office.

By bank transfer: For bank details see our standing order form.

Card Payment: We are now able to accept contactless payments by bank debit card. The card terminal will be left at the back of the church. If not please ask Nigel or one of the Stewards.
